The Whole Nine Yards Review By Linda The Whole Nine Yards is a cute little film about a guy's next door neighbor (Bruce Willis) being a hit man. Matthew Perrys wife is trying to put a hit on her sweet husband. This involves various scenarios of different people killing each other. All done with good humor, after all what has to be taken care of, has to be done. Michael Clarke Duncan once again delivers an excellent performance as does Matthew Perry. Bruce Willis mainly smiles and drinks martinis loaded with green olives. In my opinion Rosanna Arquette was ill-cast. She is the shoe that doesn't fit in this movie. There are some good laughs. I give It 5 stars. MISSION TO MARS This movie is fairly good. Although, the previews may have been the most action this movie contained. I was expecting something quite different with the huge red explosions going off over the title/previews/print media. Gary Sinise is excellent as usual. He portrays an astronaut in mourning over the death of his wife. He is not allowed to participate in the first landing on Mars, because he didn't pass the psychological testing. The landing is perfect, then mysterious incidents happen leaving only one survivor out of four. Immediately Sinise and Tim Robbins prepare to launch a rescue mission. All goes well until their ship is damaged by debris from a Mars explosion. They are forced to take alternative measures. I feel the movie people needed a bit more technical advice. When the astronauts walked, there were imprints, but no real dust flying. There were other flaws in the space travel, but it was just a movie:-) The ending was a bit too sweet for me. I was looking for something more spectacular.
