These are various book covers (journals, photo albums) that Steph has learned to make in some classes she's taken from her local stamp store. Steph suggests that if you ever get a chance to take a bookmaking class, to go for it! It's lots of fun and really gets your imagination going.

Blackbook Journal

This is a hand sewn journal. I took a needle and thread and made the sections inside. I used deocrative paper and book binding on the outside

Japanese Stab Binding

This is made using the 4 hole stitch. You use think paper and you have longer rectangle piece of paper in the inside. The unique thing about this book is that you have the folded edge to the outside of the book not the spine. What really sets these books off is the stitching.

Sewing on the Tab Book

The unique thing about this book is its spine. You cut the tabs and sew them in. The inside on this one is blank and the decorative paper is thin. I think this is a very pretty book

Ribbon Bound Photo Album

The paper on this book is hand made very pretty and adds a special touch. It would be beautiful for a wedding guest book. I think that the ribbon stitching sets this book off.
