I don't know how clearly you can make it out in this picture, but when I came upon this car, I saw at least 3 different bags duct taped together and then duct taped to the door itself. I bet I coulda "repaired" the window with just one bag and half the duct tape.
Notice the air pressure difference between the inside and outside of the car. A car with its windows rolled up will heat up rather quickly. The air inside the car expands faster than the air outside the car. When a plastic bag is in place of a window, it bows out. This is known as the "Jiffy-Pop effect".
