I'm wondering about the engine. Was it rebuilt at some point in the 148,000 miles that have been put on it? Or was it rebuilt, and has since racked up an additional 148,000 miles? Either is pretty scary.
Okay, so this car doesn't claim to go fast (certainly looks more suburban ghetto than ricey), but the accesories themselves are more rice than bad taste. The 3-spoke rims could fall under either category. I mean, we all know that the less spokes a wheel has, the lighter it is and the faster you go. But we also know that 3-spoke wheels look HeLlA TyTe, and serve to show off your new brakes.
And the wing, while a typical rice accesory, when coupled with the wheels, can be construed as bad taste. Arggh! Same goes for lowering springs. I'm getting nowhere....
But wait, what's this? It lists "neuspeed" as an option. Neuspeed is a company that makes stuff (possibly even products for late 80's Accords), but isn't a product in itself. Since the ad isn't clear as to what exactly the car has that's made by Neuspeed, I'm calling it rice.
Remember kids, just because a car has a sticker that says it has something in or on it, that doesn't make it true. Why, the other day, I saw a Civic with Mopar stickers on the windows. I could just imagine that guy at the service desk at Pep Boys. "Uhh, yeah. Which aisle do you have your Mopar? Next to the Neuspeed? Thanks."
