My first crossover car!

It seems as though any 80's econo-car is a prime candidate for a beater. But to see a beater in 80's barrio trim in Minnesota in this day and age is a sight to behold! And it is most definitely IdiotAuto material.

In case you are wondering what 80's barrio trim is, it's lots of brightly-colored bits (that weird decomposing 80's spectrum cube sticker) and lots of chrome (I don't think you can stick anymore mylar to the underside of that car. But a few points are deducted because of the absence of wheel well arch trim). I think the C-pillar (the rear part of the cabin) is painted ivory to simulate a landau-style vinyl top. That's more ghetto than barrio. Not sure where the spoiler influence came from...I mean besides the 80's.

Notice the 2 antennas? That means the AM/FM mono gets GREAT reception. And that skull & crossbones on the mirror makes it look like a miniature pirate's flag. What's this??? The mono-wiper is indicitave of rice, but it's not prominently displayed or painted yellow (which is mandatory if you're going to do the single-wiper conversion rice-style), and it's not even located in the center. Which leads me to believe it's a real treat to drive in the rain and snow.

Ahoy, matey!
