That was the original intent of offset racing stripes on a car: to let course workers know where the driver was located in the advent of an accident. Now, of course, it's pure "style". This little devil takes the Neon R/T's skunk stripes (this ain't no R/T) and makes them offset, which looks really funny. Those things take up like 1/4 of the whole car! And the fugly-ass American Racing wheels compliment those silly stripes.

Aaaahhh!! It's staring at me! Make it stop! Sorry for the blurry picture. I was laughing too hard to keep the camera steady. Altezza lights on a red Neon with giant offset stripes and ugly wheels completes the "high school kid with some extra cash laying around and no idea what to do with it" look. What you can't see is the fart tip. Yes, I know. It sounds just as bad (and annoying) as it looks.
I'm not sure what that sticker says, but I think it, when combined with the rear-windows-only tint, serves as a rear-view-deflector, much like a giant spoiler. I wonder if that's the kind of tint that'll get all bubbly after the rear defroster's been turned on.
