Yeffy

Yeffy's been a friend for ever. That's not really his name, but I have been calling him that ever since I can remember, so I'm afraid it's stuck. It's handy, though, since there is more than one Jeff in my close group of friends.

Yeffy is Kirstin's godfather, and I appreciate that he is always available to her as yet another nice adult influence.

One of my favorite things to do with Yeffy is tarot readings for each other. We also both enjoy camping, and were up north for a week together this spring, along with Roomie and Yeffy's girlfriend, Reagan. Yeffy and Reagan have been together for over a year now, and are always trying to find reasons to break up with each other, but they never quite manage to do it. I'm kind of glad Yeffy found a person and isn't lonely anymore.

I do sort of wish they would each sort out their heads so that they didn't have to fight all the time!

Yeffy is a full-time restaurant manager, and is also going to college full-time, trying to finish his degree. I know how hard that can be, and am very happy that he is going for it. He has no time at all to do much of anything with his friends, but I have been in that position enough that I am not irked about it. I just hope when he graduates he gets a great job and is infinitely happier with his life.
