Freezing but worth it

It's freezing in here today, and I just plain don't care! The doors are all propped open because the movers are here, getting rid of the people who were in the offices, and putting the new occupants (me) in them. Well, they aren't going to physically pick me up and stuff me in a box and put me in there, but I think they think of it that way.

So I'm completely nonproductive. I can't really type because my fingers are frozen. I can't attend the meeting I'm scheduled for because I have to be here for the movers, and I can't make the calls I need to make because my phone is packed up. I really don't mind, though. For once I'm perfectly content just to sit here in a vegetative state, waiting for lunch time to roll around.

Last night I was great company for poor Forest. He'd been pretty excited about going out with his friend Will last night, but Will had to work at the last minute, so Forest ended up coming home. He was still in the mood to stay up late, though, and I thought he'd probably like some company, but instead I zonked with my head in his lap while he watched Return of the Jedi . Some comfort I am!

They're coming to take me away. Tomorrow!
