Who writes our reviews and what do they receive?

We have not updated this page in a long while since there are just too many positive email messages about the exceptional value we provide our writers. Just look at this list of what our reviewers have received. List of books, software and products by reviewer.

They are PC and Macintosh users just like you. They are not professional writers but a lot are professionals in their own field of expertise. Our writers actually use the software they request and they actually read and enjoy the books.

Here is a list of some of our reviewers who have received software and books and written reviews for Editor's Choice. As you can see, they received they software that they would use.

Don't think that because you see a review of a software title or book on this list that it is unavailable for review purposes. We are the largest syndicated review service on the Internet and we need different people to review many of the same software programs or books. Software publishers are always coming out several times each year with new versions of their product and need these new versions to be reviewed. Since we email our reviews to over 22,000 newspapers, magazines, newsletters, ezines and electronic email newsletters we are in a constant need for fresh reviews of software and books.

I know your instructions said that you should only request consumer products less than $300, but I tried and received a Sharp HI 8mm ViewCam with 4" LCD screen. This was a nice surprise.

The Photo Recall Deluxe software was easy to install and I am using it a lot. The medial relations director even called me two days after I received the FedEx package to see if I had any questions. boy you sure don't get that treatment when you buy sotware.

I got my first title and am very happy with this program. I sent the mfg the request form and got an immediate response with a program I have been wanting for a while. I have already referred several to your service and will be happy to talk to anyone about your service. The next order I get from EC will be for a lot more review request forms.

Our policy now is to retain the option to bill any writer who receives a review title and does not post their review(s).
