Diana in Private - The Princess Nobody Knew

 By Lady Colin Campbell

Lady Colin Campbell shocked the world and sent the Royal Family reeling with her startling revelations about Princess Diana. An English aristocrat herself who has spent two decades in royal circles, she finally breaks the powerful code of silence to strip away the rumors, myths, and carefully managed PR and reveal what really goes on behind the Palace gates.

This book did not change my views of the Late Princess Diana. It did fill in a lot of blank areas that as an American so removed from the scene, I would never known about.Few Americans can understand the privileged life that many young titled women in Britain lead.

This book was published before the untimely death of Princess Diana. It has become a New York Times best-seller. It offers fascinating insights into the length the British aristocracy will go to maintain their line of male lineage. It seem that to be successful each family must have an heir and a spare or risk losing literally hundreds of years of accumulation of wealth in the form of large estates and manors filled with priceless treasures.
