...his gentile touch
[
Bliss]
[
no longer nothing]
Bliss
Conversing through the darkness,
Dependant on the moon’s radiance
And the glisten in his eyes.
The words fell from his tongue,
Like raindrops in the night.
Welling inside,
A sense of relief.
Right here, right now,
Everything is alright.
His gentle touch,
Softer lips,
This is it,
This is bliss.
no longer nothing
Reaching past, your grips and grasps,
I fell into your arms that night.
You always try so hard,
To pull me out of the darkness and into the light
And if I let you,
Will anything really be alright?
You crept into my heart that night,
As everything turned from black to white.
I’ve always thought I was dead inside,
But I have these feelings I cannot deny.
It seems you’ve brought me back to life.
And now I see,
We’re just two scarred souls,
Trying to become whole.
