X-Files Poetry.
I've always found it easier to write poetry than to write fiction in
other forms, and the X-Files fanfiction has been no different.
For some reason, I've also found it easier to write Scully than Mulder.
Maybe because I'm more on Scully's wavelength than Mulder's - who knows?
Anyway, this is what you can find here, in no particular order:
OK, so the term 'Ice-Queen' is a purely fanfiction based thing.
What the hell, I say, I may as well use it, since loads of others have
done so before me. This poem is from Scully's POV [obviously!], and
describes her feelings inside as her outside persona seems to many people
to be cold and unfeeling. Maybe she needs someone who loves her beyond
reason ... like Mulder.
People seem to have differing views on Teena Mulder. Some believe
she was fully cognisant of everything that was happening; others believe
she was deceived by her husband. I tend to favour the latter opinion,
hence this poem. The title, and the inspiration, came from the poem
'Fire and Ice' by Robert Frost. Somehow, that poem seemed to epitomise
Mulder's mom.
This poem hints at character death. If you link it to my story
- Bright,
Clear Angel - it makes a little more sense. I think.
What might have happened, had Mulder really gotten down to it with Detective
White in the middle of the Mulder-Scully 'tiff' arc.
After watching the movie, this was the reason my muse found for why
Scully still stays with Mulder.
What I rather think would happen, should Mulder ever lose Scully.
Valedictory. Status Quo: Revoked
A post-Requiem poem, Scully ponders a Mulder-less life.
