The BENJAMIN E. "JUDGE" ISBELL

house that stood at 720 Haes Avenue in De Queen.

The house was built in 1892 and burned to the ground in 1966. (The Bee ran photos of the smoking hulk.)

This picture was taken about 1930 because of the snow, which was big news.

My father grew up here and this was the only house he really knew until he left.

My grandfather was an attorney, state representative from Sevier, and circuit court judge from 1922-1930.

He was a good friend of Abe Collins.
