This bridge was rebuilt many years ago. If memory serves me correctly, some years later it had a truck fall through it and a new bridge was built at that time.It was across the Rolling Fork River about 10 miles southwest of De Queen on what was commonly called The Dogtown Road.

It was one of the few , if not the only bridge on the Rolling Fork to survive the 1948 flood.

I have swam there by this bridge many times when I was growing up in De Queen. I also fished and hunted down in that area many times.

This picture was taken from a newspaper which doesn't scan well. If you have pictures of any of any old bridges in Sevier county that you would share please send me an email. I will post them on my website and credit it to you.
