Humanitarian Help programme :
At the time of natural calamities like cyclone, tidal bore and flood, the Society comes forward to provide the affected people with food, pure water and medicine. Over and above, the Society arranges to supply good seeds of different types of crops and vegetables so as to help the distressed peasants to overcome, at least to some extent, the loss sustained by them at the time of disasters. To distribute warm clothes amongst the poor people during the winter is also a part of the Society's programmes.
Project for re-habilitation of poor and shelterless widows :
"Those who are devoted to do good to the poor and the widows are of the same dignity as those who are involved in Jihad." Al-Hadith
Bangladesh Chasi Kallyan Samity, according to the availability of resources, constructs houses for the poor, especially poor widows, and also gives them financial aid for rearing a few goats and chickens so that they can lead their lives along with their children free from woes and worries.
Project for supplying pure water and tube-well for performing ablution :
"And tell them that the water is to be divided between them: each one's right to drink being brought forward (by suitable turns)".Surah al-Qamar - 28
Under this project the Society has arranged to sink a good number of shallow tube-wells for supplying pure water specially in those mosques which don't have any proper arrangement for providing water for ablution and drinking. In each such project about half-a-lac Taka has to be spent. Thanks to Allah Almighty, quite a number of motor driven tube-wells have been sunk, and ablution rooms built, in different places in the country.
