1990
Take a good look the picture of Jerry in his hammock above. Now look across the cove. See that tree leaning over? It was struck by lightning- WHILE we were camped there. In fact, it was the second time lighting struck right next to us, and they were both interesting experiences to say the least. When you hear loud thunder and lightning it's still a few miles off. When it strikes next to you it doesn't sound the same way: the thunder is immediate and takes on the audio of a bomb. But electical issues aside, 1990 was a fun year with good weather.
