The doorbell rang and I ran to get it. "Hey," said Josh. "Are you ready or did you need more time?"
"I'm ready," I said smiling as I grabbed my purse and closed the door behind me. "I want to apologize again for how I picked up the phone earlier. They just kept calling and hanging up and it was really annoying."
"Oh, don't worry about it. I just feel bad that someone would do that," said Josh opening the car door for me.
"Thanks. I don't think it's anything.I mean it irks me, but whatever."
"Other than that, how was your morning? I know I woke up with a smile just thinking about last night."
"I had a great time last night too. I spoke with my best friend Liz. She's coming on Tuesday with some group she's touring with. I vaguely remember them. Backstreet Boys I think it is?"
"Yeah, they're really popular. Oh! You..." said Josh with a look oh realization or surprise.
"I what?" I asked confused.
"Umm...never mind. You're just so beautiful."
"Okay," I said arching my eyebrow.
"You are. It just caught me by surprise all of a sudden," he said smiling.
"I believe you.. Anyways, we're going to their concert. I don't even think I like the type of music they sing, but I haven't seen Liz in forever and apparently we all use to be friends. Could you imagine that? Being friends with a band?"
"Yeah, crazy. Um...there's something I should tell you."
"What?" I asked as he parked the car in front of the park.
"I'm an actor. I would have told you last night, but it was so nice to have someone get to know me for me."
"Aww, you're such a sweetheart. Actually, Lila told me last night. I didn't know before she told me though. You're really down to earth."
"Thanks. Well, now that that's out of the way, let's get going!" He said getting out of the car and grabbing everything.
