n the begining and to tell who came first, above all there was at the start of all it, Mist. And It was said that this mist ruled all that was and was not for the span of 900 years

And then it is said that a quickly as the mist came it vanished. And then it was emptiness that took over whom the ancients called Kaligo. Kaligo was broad and wide and filled all reaches and she, like the mist rulled for 900 years and then another 9 as well. All was at peace and all silent during the reign of Kaligo.

Then out of the corner of this emptiness emerged a light, a ray. It was Chaos, He who is the Father. He bore himeself out of Kaligo and claimed it realm. Chaos ,the all father, set forth the heavens and universe. He placed the stars and constellations. He seperated the heavens from the material world and crerated the planets. He created the elements and brought forth order what some may call Bia, the force. And it is this force, this Bia, that rules over all beings. For Chaos knew that one force could never live with out an opposite to it. And Chaos maintained the Bia to dictate over all things. And it is this, this beginning that all things come from. It is the Bia that no being can escape from. And in the days when Chaos ruled all and only, there was peace and ballance to all about.

It is said the Chaos had become lonily and of want and thus from his very own being created two forms. Two children. The First was a female child of blacken hair and beauty whom he called Nyx, for her raven hair was as dark as the universe. The second child, a son, was her equal with hair wild and black and Chaos named him Erebos, the darkness. And the children lived and grew in there fathers very precence. And as they grew stong and beautiful, they as well grew wise.

When they wereold enough it was time for them to claim their realm that Chaos had held for them. but this was no small task, for it was guarded by a giant black bull. Erebos and Nyx had taken positioned themselves to challeng the bull. Many a day passed as the two gods made attempts to wrestle the majestic bull to submission. Erebos grew angery at his father Chaos and approached him challenging his fathers authourity and wisdom. "How could you father Chaos? How could you make such an impossible feat for Nyx and myself to conquer?" Chaos lowered to eyes to his son and replied "There is no impossible my son Erebos. Depend not in your might but in the knowledge that I have given you." Again they faced the bull but this time Nyx had taken her cloak and threw it over ther bull's head, blnding the beast to were it should place its hooves. Erebus leapt on the mighty creatures back and thus wrestled the beast to finally submit. Thus the realms of darkness and the night were theres to rule, as they saw fit. Nyx's cloak became the stars and night sky and the bull, was tamed and became the might steed of Erebos.

The great nights passed many of times. And in those nights and in that darkness, Erebos and Nyx loved. And in that couse of love, Nyx became swollen with Erebos' child. And it is said that within that realm of darkness, Nyx had laboured to bring forth the child. But at the birth a strange yet wonderous thing happen. For at the birth their came a light like no other seen. It filled the heavens and illuminated all about it, so even the that had there been then, even plants would have turned quickly to catch this light. And within this light was born not one but two children. So opposite of their parents they were. They had hair so golden and light of color and their very radiance shown of light. Erebos was so fearful of these children, that looked not like them at all. Erebos and Nyx took their children to Chaos and prayed to Chaos to help them. Yet once again Chaos spoke out with his greatest of wisdom, "fearful no. they are beautiful, for they are part of you my daughter." "but they are not like us in anyway" Nyx beseached. "No they are not like yourselves. Yet they are like you in everyway. They are the children of the 'Bia'. They are the balance of you. Where as you are the night, they are the day, the light. They are the nessassary to maintain order. Love them my daughter. Love them as you have loved me." Chaos places his hand on the babes crowns and said "Your son bears the name of Aether, for he is the light that shines on all. Your daughter bears the name of Hemera, for she is the day as sure as you are the night. I bless these children with my will, for one day like yourselves they will claim their own realm. And they, like you, will know the law of Bia. So mote it be." And it was so. The divine parents did love their children and like their parents, Aether and Hemera became strong and wise.

And as Chaos' blessing said, there came a time when Aether and Hemera came to claim their realm. Only this realm was not guarded by a bull of black but two titanic lions of awesome strength and power. Many more days and nights passed before Aether and Hemera learned the same lessons as their parents, yet the lions was so overwhelmed by their brightness atlast casted and by the time Nyx casted her cloak over all, the realm of light was in the possession of her children. The crown of the day went to Hemera and the mighty cats became the steeds of Aether. And their was balance.

Yet balance is a thing that can quickly be toppled and so it was, by parents and children. For Nyx and Erebos' realm clashed often with their children's and arguments erupted as to when one realm would rule over the other. It was the wisdom of Chaos, that once again stepped forward. For Chaos gave each realm equal time to rule. Thus the day and the night were formed and given equal time to rule over all. And yet once again, the Bia found its order in all things.
Chaos found love and pleasure to his children and gave each a realm to rule. And they were found on one of the mainy planets that exsisted, the earth. To his only daughter, he gave the lands of the each, and when her foot first touch the barren earth, the ground sprung alive with green grass and flowers of color, columns of trees and more. Thus life came to the barren and still land. To his son Pontos, Chaos gave the deeper chasms and canyons. But not feeling to equal his sister, Pontos used his divine magick and filled the chasms and canyons with water, thus creating the seas and oceans, rivers and lakes. Next Chaos gave to his son Tartaros the deep earth, the caves and caverns. And it was he who ruled over the breath of volcanos and fires that warm the earh. Lastly to his eldest son Ouranos, Chaos gave the realm of the sky and the air, to watch over his brothers and sister and deliver the messages and prayers to the ear of almighty Chaos. All was now in peace for a long reign. But soon there was unrest on the earth. Though there was fields and forests of wonder and glory, there was no companionship and friendship. The holy and divine siblings came together to discuss what to do to bring more life to the earth. Gaea had lifted up in her hand dirt and blessed it, yet there was nothing. It was then that Pontos poured water onto the the dirt and molded it into a figure but there was still nothings to behold as the figure could not keep its form. Then Tartaros warmed the mud with his divine fire and baked it to hold. And yet still there was no life. Lastly Ouranos breathed air into the figures mouth and at that time the figure sprung to life and flew into the sky. The first living being came alive and it was the form of an eagle. It whispered a prayer of thanks to the most divine and flew of. And within those next days the divine children brought forth the life of every living animal, bird, fish, insect, reptile and all. The earth, sky and sea teamed withlife and love. And where Gaea stepped brought forth grasses and flowers and mighty trees and the land became fertile with life.

Then, onto this new world, among the first immortals to walk its vastness came more children who where born to the union of Nyx and Erebos: The twin brothers Morpheos and Thanatos, who ruled the dreams and lead souls to the next world: Momos, who was a master of the flute and music as equally was he with his innoscent trickery: Nemesis, who makes sure that those who does ill, feel the lash of the law of Bia: Eris, who works hard to bring discord to others: 3 beautiful daughters whom were called the Hesperides and bare the names of Aegle, Erytheis and Arethusa and they garded the most lushest of plains where the divine family met every night to meal together, under a tree that bore apples of gold: and the 3 sisters Morae who rule over the past, present and future and where given the names of Atropos, Clotho and Lachesis. And the Divine family lived on the earth and all was in balance under the laws of Chaos and Bia.

This to some mortal folk is considered the "First Age." The age of the cosmic-coming and formation of all that is, The first Generation of the divine family.
