By scrolling down this page, you will find information about the many attractions at Universal Studios, Florida. It has been divided into two sections: kids attractions and teen/adult attractions. I will be visiting USF in 3 weeks and I will add photos from my collection when I return.
Attractions for Kids
Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone --
Now Open! This unique area features the all new Curious George Goes To Town play area and Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster, plus such familiar family favorites as E.T. Adventure®, A Day in the Park with Barney™, Animal Actors Stage® and Fievel’s Playland®.
Come see some of your favorite television and film stars...no, we're not talking about Tom Cruise or Jim Carrey. We mean your favorite ANIMAL stars, such as Lassie, Beethoven, and Mr. Ed. Watch as they perform wild yet comical tricks and stunts. The trainer may even pick an audience member to perform too!
It's Barney! And he's brought along his friends Baby Bop® and BJ® for a Super-Dee-Duper live sing-along, clap-along show filled with wonderful surprises and all of Barney's® favorite songs. After the show, you'll have the chance to meet Barney and explore his wondrous backyard! Climb Barney's treehouse, step on musical rocks, play on Barney's train engine and more!
Curious George Goes to TownSM is a new interactive playground that’s a unique combination, water-based fun, and a hands-on interactive ball arena that invites the curiosity of children of all ages. Follow the footsteps of everyone’s favorite mischievous monkey, Curious George, as his latest adventure unfolds before you. You’ll encounter a colorful Animal Show tent which provides lots of play activities for children. Next, follow George to a town square that’s a whirlwind of exciting water play activity. Enter the town’s buildings and grab a pump, valve, hose or lever with which you can spray, spritz, splatter and splash your friends! Then it’s on to the Man in the Yellow Hat’s "Ball Factory" - a fun and exciting play zone featuring countless foam balls which you can shoot, blast, transfer, and dump on people you know (and even people you don’t). It’s play the whole family can get involved in!
ET's planet is in danger!! First you must sneak him through the woods, past the police and scientists searching for him. Then you'll board your bicycle and soar across the stars together. At the end of the journey awaits a magical planet, filled with unforgettable creatures who greet you in song...While E.T. himself is there to thank you personally.
There's huge fun at Fievel's Playland®! And remember, this isn't your average playground -- everything here is big! So big, kids will thrill at the gigantic 1,000-gallon cowboy hat and marvel at the talking two-story Tiger the Cat. Or get caught up in the 30-foot spider web! Kids will explore the endless mazes, water slides and trampolines. USF built this playland for the most rambunctious, rompin' fun-seeker ever! It's a colossal good time!
Enter a place created by Woody himself: a factory-like setting with lots of gears and gadgetry, where Woody makes nuts of us all! It’s Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse CoasterSM! As you enter the warehouse you’ll climb aboard a set of cars that look like crates -- some labeled “mixed nuts,” some labeled “salted nuts”…and some “certifiably nuts!” Then hold on as Woody takes you on a fun-filled ride through his very own Nuthouse! Like Woody himself, this ride is positively nutty! It’s all-new, and it’s only at Universal Studios Florida®!
Beetlejuice's Rock 'n Roll Graveyard Review --
During a typical performance, BeetlejuiceTM subjects his audience to approximately 17 insults, 12 rude remarks, 23 bad puns, and half a dozen exhibitions of questionable hygiene. Although Beetlejuice has been dead for over a thousand years, many of his jokes are less than half that old. Audio technicians have determined that the combination of raucous rock 'n roll and explosive pyrotechnics of the show is officially "loud enough to wake the dead."
The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera --
In an act of diabolical nastiness, Dick DastardlyTM and MuttleyTM have kidnapped Elroy JetsonTM. It's up to Yogi BearTM, Boo BooTM, and YOU to rocket through the "Funtastic World of Hanna-BarberaTM" to save him. You'll fly through the streets of Bedrock, into a haunted mansion with Scooby-DooTM and across the futuristic world of The JetsonsTM in a wild and wacky cartoon chase.
Nickelodeon Studios --
In the Nickelodeon Studios, guests get a special backstage tour and get a chance to see what goes on behind the scenes of some of the most popular kid shows by the most popular kid studio in the world.
Wild West Stuntshow --
In this entertaining show, good is put against evil in a western setting. The evil Hoppers meet up with Bret and Felix, the law abiding "good folk". All heck will break loose when the Hoppers meet Bret and Felix in a classic Western showdown. You can expect a rootin' tootin' shoot 'em up featuring plenty of high falls, dynamite blasts, rooftop fights and heart-stopping stunts sure to bring down the house.

Back to the Future: The Ride --
You'll whiz, weave, careen, drop and zip through space and beyond. Zoom into the future and see Hill Valley in the year 2015... rocket to the ice age and dodge an avalanche of ice... then blast back to the dawn of time and go face to face with a hungry T-Rex. Don't be surprised if you get trapped in a volcano... or worse! So power up the flux capacitor, accelerate to 88 m.p.h. and prepare for a 21 million jigowatt adventure!
Earthquake --
Guests are taken on a "tour" of a San Francisco subway tunnel. Reports indicate the quake is registering 8.3 on the Richter Scale. Worst hit is the underground rail system, where subway riders can expect collapsing ceiling, crashing subway trains, exploding gasoline trucks and 65,000 gallons of water flooding the station!
Alfred Hitchcock: The Art of Making Movies --
Go behind the dark side of the master of suspense in Alfred Hitchcock -- The Art of Making Movies. Recreate the shower scene from Psycho and learn the techniques behind the plot twists that made Hitchcock famous. Survive an edge-of-your-seat 3-D ambush of shrieking birds -- and see the film like never before! Perch on the edge of the Statue of Liberty for your own cameo in Saboteur. Put your sleuthing skills to work -- stake out the murderer in a life-size set of Rear Window. If you survive, head for the interactive area of intrigue to go behind-the-mystery in Vertigo. Horror and Make-up Show --
Well, now you can see a movie make-up artist "spill his guts" and reveal what goes into (and oozes out of) your favorite movie monsters! Witness a "live" demonstration of the amazing transformation sequence from An American Werewolf in London, and watch in horror as The Fly emerges from his telepod-- there isn't a fly swatter in the world big enough to bash this bug! Learn how decapitations, severed limbs, bullet holes, stab wounds, and other amazing transformations are all in a day's work -- for the Special Effects Make-Up Artist. Don't try this at home!
Jaws --
A 32-foot killer Great White shark slices through the waves -- opening his jaws wide -- and it looks like you're lunch! Ride JAWS® at Universal Studios Florida® and go face to jaws with the horrifying shark immortalized in Steven Spielberg's film. Stare down this menacing monster as three tons of terror attacks your boat and keeps coming back for more... flames, explosions and high-voltage fear...Will you make it out alive?
Kongfrontation --
Take the last aerial tram out of Manhattan and you might have a chance...He's spotted you! Kong's attacking your tram! You can actually feel his banana breath in your face! He's about to hurl your tram into the East River... there's no escape!
Men In Black: Alien Attack --
*This IS NOT the actual graphic from uescape.com.* It's up to YOU to protect the Earth from aliens in the all new MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack. As an agent trainee, you'll zap aliens as you chase them through the streets of New York in this high-tech ride based on the hit movie. But be warned... these aliens zap back, spinning your vehicle wildly out of control. The outcome is based on your score -- save Earth, and you might get promoted to full-fledged Men in Black agent! Stage 54 --
Here's your chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at new and upcoming movies and television shows. One of Universal Studios Florida®'s newest attractions, Stage 54 is an intriguing area featuring props, costumes, sets, special effects and more from a variety of major productions, with exhibits changing on a regular basis. Guests not only get the opportunity to examine authentic pieces of movie memorabilia up close, but also get to watch fascinating videos shot during production demonstrating how each of the props and effects were utilized.
Terminator 2 3D --
Fight side by side with the TERMINATOR, travel to the future and stop Skynet before the human race is exterminated! You will have to dodge plasma blasts, battle evil cyborgs, and evade flying mini-hunters in a 3-D surround adventure that attacks every one of your senses.
Twister --
Step into one of the most action-packed movies of all time as Universal Studios Florida® brings the nail-biting excitement of the blockbuster hit TWISTER to life. Feel what it's like to be a storm chaser, looking a tornado right in the eye. Grab onto the railing and "Ride It Out," as the swirling vortex of a tornado blows you away.
