located at 1498 Straight Path in Wyandanch,
NY, was established in
March 1981.
Evangelist Annie McCall, Deacon Edmund Smith,
Evangelist Josphine Avron and several others
spearheaded the movement to speak with Apostle
William Brown, the overseer of the Salvation
and Deliverance churches worldwide.
In 1980, they met with Apostle Brown about
starting a church in Wyandanch, New York.
He said it was in his heart to build a church
in Long Island.
In 1981, Salvation and Deliverance Church
of Wyandanch was opened. The late Apostle
Stanley Crumpler was installed as pastor.
Later Bishop Smith, Rosenberg, and Gallimore
became pastor, respectively.
In October 1996, God sent Apostle D.F. Allen
and wife Evangelist G. Allen to be installed
as pastor of Salvation and Deliverance Church
of Wyandanch. Apostle Allen retired in 1995
after serving 16 years as a Lieutenant in
the NYC Police Dept. Apostle Allen has earned
a degree in Human Development, Religious
Education, and an Honorary Doctorate degree
