
Task-
As guides of Philadelphia your responsibility will be to be knowledgeable of the city and produce a brochure of Philadelphia for your groups. As your parents/guardians tour the city you will be able to provide information on the four specific sites we will visit.
The four specific sites we will visit are:
Benjamin Franklin Court, Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, and Betsy Ross House
You will be placed into groups of five and given a choice of one of five
historic colonial figures.
Benjamin Franklin -Gathering Materials, making sure group has all materials
Betsy Ross – Decision maker, in charge of making the final decision
John Hancock – Scribe, write down any ideas or answers to questions
Thomas Jefferson – Final brochure, over sees the completion of the ready to use brochure for the trip to Philly!
George Washington – Computer research, keyboard operator
Materials:
Computers, questionnaire on the four specific sites, pen, poster
board/construction paper, markers, highlighters, and your creativity!!
