
This section describes the evaluation criteria needed to meet our predetermined goals and objectives. You will assessed on how accurately your journal assignment explains your Historic site, whether or not you worked cooperatively with your group members, and how effectively you present your information to your classmates. The grading system is as follows: Journal Assignment Exemplary (4 points) - Student shows knowledgeable understanding on why the place is a Historical site, the significance of the events that took place, and the date on when the event occurred. Accomplished (3 points) - Student shows an understanding of their Historical site, but only gathers some of the relevant information. Developing ( 2 points) - Shows very little understanding of their Historical site. Beginning (1 point) - Shows no understanding of their Historical site. Group Participation Exemplary (4 points) - Everyone in the group worked together by sharing notes, and treating each other with respect Accomplished (3 points) - Everyone worked well together but had to be reprimanded by the teacher on a few occasions. Developing (2 points) - The group struggled to work together and were reprimanded multiple times throughout the assignment. Beginning (1 Point) - The group could not work together and were extremely disrespectful and wouldn't follow directions. Individual Presentation Exemplary (4 points) - Student used visual aids or handouts to explain and support the significance of their Historical site. Accomplished (3 points) - Student explained the significance of their Historical site. Developing (2 points) - Student showed little knowledge of their Historical site. Beginning (1 point) - Student showed very little knowledge of their Historical site.
