I changed the theme because well, Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom are hot and this way I can always look at them. Haha. My next theme will probably be Kurt Cobain. That's if I can find a Nirvana song. Well, anyways, like I said so much has changed since the last time I posted in this thing. Hey, still no boyfriend though, just like in the last post. Or maybe I was still going out with Anthony in the last post but things were on the rocks. Well, anyways. Ant's going out with Sami. Yay! Finally! He liked her even before I went out with him. But, anyways, hmmm what else is new? Oh, my mom was in the hospital since then, but I'm pretty sure everyone knows. I'm in 9th grade now. My favorite colors are black and green. I hardly ever wear anything but black, but occassionally I do. I wouldn't be caught dead in pink. I grew closer with my parents. Haha! Yesterday at Rachel's house I was a little bit tipsy. We had brandy, liquor, champagne, and wine. And martini, I think. I'm not sure. I had like 5 shot glasses of something and a shotglass of wine, and two glasses of champagne. Haha...it tasted good but I don't like not being in control of myself as much as usual so I don't think I'll be doing that for a while. Now I don't like rap. I only listen to rock, unless I can't help it, like at dance class. I still play piano though. I don't like anyone, but hey, there's always high school and I'm sure there will be a lot of great guys there. I get to go to Cabo at the end of August, because we want to go somewhere this summer. lena: my cd weird guys: (eventually leave) it was creepy...i was in a fightish thing with my parents monday...but today is better...so yeah it's all good...omg, and the lady's house (mansion!!!!) we're in gave me 3 liz clairbourne purses...wow! its awesome... i hear our group is splitting up...everyone sees it...it's sad and yet for the best...it's so sad though wow...i didnt even get to finish the whole story thing about what happened in the whole thing with the 6th grader and lollipops...oh well that's old news...i mean, the whole punishment thing is over...and detention was ok (it's either sitting inside at SAY or sitting inside in the cafeteria...whats the difference?)...and i dunno...maybe when i get back from hawaii life will be perfect again i dunno at least i dont wanna run away from home anymore...that's always good...it really sucks that the group is drifting apart...and danielle says it's not like splitting up into different groups or nething...we're just not as close nemore...i guess...but i dunno i guess my closest friends now r chanelle, anthony, and rachel...i'm kinda drifting apart with rachel cuz she's getting like really ghetto or whatever...and i'm not ghetto like at all anymore so yeah...chanelle's still a "rap person" and i'm a "rock person" but chanelle's not ghetto so it's not an imposition...(big word! not sure if i used it correctly but whatever) and yeah...i can tell them 3 anything...it's awesome...and i'm good friends with danielle too...i dunno bout everyone else...kinda drifting apart from them...but maybe not...maybe we were never that close...i dunno...but it's all good...well, some ppl, i dunno, i'm getting closer to them but we're not close friends...i dunno...i wonder if chanelle and marian are still having problems amongst themselves...cuz they're in orchestra together...and they've been bugging eachother so i dunno... wow i care about everyone so much...it's kinda scary...i worry too much...i feel like a mother...i care about how everyone feels and i go insane whenever ne1 is upset with me in any way...that's not good...well, maybe, but not if i go insane...cuz ppl always have problems with ppl, and yeah...i dunno what my point to all of this ranting is...but that's what i do...i rant...on and on and on and on...until i can type or talk no more...hmmmm oh yeah, i wrote anthony a letter lol...that is how much time i have on my hands...and i called rachel and chanelle...and i tried calling others but yeah...i prolly forgot the area code or sumthing...i know i did that...and then i called sami and asked if i could talk to megan and i dunno...i think i was high or sumthing...oh well... and i talked to bunches of ppl on AIM...and whoever i didn't talk to better be on!!! and they should get their asses on aim from 8:30-9:30...or sumthing like that so i'm actually home when they're on omg, u know what's shitty...my dad found out bout how i carved NO in my hand...he got so mad...now if i even draw on my hand he'll never speak to me again...i dunno, i'm like closer with my parents now though...but we had a talk this morning...a long talk...a very long talk...but i dunno it payed off omg...yesterday there was this bitch and i was at some designer bikini store (didnt buy nething there btw) but yeah, i got this bikini to try on...and the tag said $33 so i'm like ok...and then i tried it on and it was really cute...and so i wanted to buy it...but i look at the tag again...now it says $34...fine...i misread it...it's just a $1 difference...right? ok so i take it to the cash register...the lady says the price is sumthing around $70...my reaction: WHAT THE FUCK???...so i'm like...whoa i thought it was $33 or $34 or sumthin like that...and then she has the nerve to say: if u want bathing suits for that kind of price go to walmart...damn i was bout to smack that whore upside the head and say "u cant afford to wear designer bathing suits either...only sell em" but yeah...i didnt i'm like whatever...and i left...but omg! ppl these days...and the same day i got a very cute white bikini at costco for like $12 or whatever...and it wasnt any worse than the designer one so yeah...awesome...and she said $30 at walmart...shit it'd prolly be like $10 at walmart...oh well...i dont care anymore...oh and we got my dad a new swimsuit...cuz his was just too short and when he layed down u could like see stuff (and i did ...AHHHH!!!) and i got him some long ones thank god...i'm traumatized for life though...yuck...oh well...those r my stories oh yes, and i went to pearl harbor on sunday...which was nice...and sad how much evil and killing and hatred there is in the world...just terrible i think i got a cold cuz my throat hurts...in hawaii...weird isn't it? Sheer madness!!!!! Let me tell you my lovely little story: Thursday, January 22nd I believe it was. A day like any other. In fact, in 4th period there was a speech given by a Holocaust survivor, David Faber (btw, it's amazing how he could talk in front of people what he had to live through) and so it left me a little stunned all day. Then, at the end of the day I went to say. Well, at say we talked to a pair of sixth graders (we being: me, Megan, Samantha, Chanelle...Anthony was kind of there, and I was with him inside until like 4:30 and Chanelle was around there too)...well, I knew one of the 6th graders; she was in my orchestra class. So I asked for a lick of her lollipop. She said no and that was fine by me. After that, some talk was brewing about high schoolers "doing stuff" in wall-ball courts, and Cree's (6th grader) skirt being sexy and such. I wasn't really paying attention. The following Friday I get called in during 5th period Geometry. I knew what it was about by that time, because Ms. Holly (counselor) came over to our group and asked everyone their names. We asked if there was a problem and she said not yet but there could be. I was sitting with Anthony. He collects attendance 2nd period and when Ms. Holly came over and said that the reaction was something like "oh crap!". Well, turns out Cree got called out of class during 2nd period, and Anthony delivered the pass. When he told me this, we both knew what happened. When I was in the office I saw my friend Chanelle. She was shaking, red in the face and her eyes were watering. I tried to comfort her, but one of the office staff said we were not allowed to converse, because of the current circumstances. I sat down in Ms. Holly's office. I knew the situation, but I didn't think it was serious. After all I didn't even talk to Cree, except for the lollipop and that was an innocent question. Next thing I know Ms. Holly is practically yelling at me "You have to remember everything that went on yesterday after school! Remember now!" I was really spaced out that day, as I've mentioned so I was just sort of shocked. All I could recall was my comment of the lollipop. Lena: "all I did was ask for some of her lollipop"..."some, or a lick?" she says. I didn't remember exactly what I said. "A lick..." I stammered, unsure. Ms. Holly: (looking at me kind of weird) "And what was said about the wall ball courts?" Lena (me): (trying to remember) "oh yes, Megan brought up that some high-schoolers were "doing stuff" in court 9." Ms. Holly seemed more content now that she'd gotten some stuff out of me. Then, she made me write everything down. Well, everything I remembered at that point wasn't too much. I made sure to keep calm, but I was anything but that. I walked back to class with a burden on my shoulders, and passed Samantha in the hallway. When I got back to room 321 (Geometry) I was incredibly worried. I wondered if they were going to yell at Samantha. I wondered if she was okay and such. Then I saw Anthony wasn’t there. He was involved as well, so I guessed that’s what it was, but I still wondered. All these crazy thoughts were running through my mind, as I feared for my friends. Then, I thought of the others that weren’t in our class. Did they get called in? And what did they do to Chanelle to make her so freaked out? And was everyone else freaked out. I tried to maintain and cool complexion and not explode with worry. Then I got to P.E. (6th period). I couldn’t wait to get to SAY. I wanted to talk to everyone, to see if they were okay. I knew all of our Friday was ruined. At SAY we sat outside the SAY room, as Caryn advised us not to go anywhere else. We surely knew why. I didn’t understand how bad it was then either. We just sat there, softly chattering about the problems and such. Sharing all of our experiences with the school counselors was an interesting experience. Those of us who came in calm got yelled at. Chanelle was nervous there, and like sad and stuff, because at lunch we all figured out what was going on. Well, turns out they gave her candy. This to me seemed like a form of bribery. Incidentally, I guess it was, because Ms. Holly told me she’d heard a bunch of different stories from like seven different people, and there weren’t even seven people involved, that got called in before me. I guess she was scaring me into telling her, but I told her everything I knew. She had her own methods for everyone. Later that day, Caryn was on the phone like almost the whole time. She was really stressed out. We all felt incredibly bad. We didn’t mean for this to happen. It was so unfair; to everyone. We stayed outside almost all day. I was the last person to leave, seconds after Samantha. Then, the weekend went by smoothly. Truth be told, I didn’t really worry about any of this; vague thoughts, but nothing that mattered; no serious deep thoughts, like ones I often have. On Monday, January 26th, in 1st Period Orchestra, Chanelle and I went over and talked to Cree: Chanelle and/or Lena: “We’re sorry if we made you feel uncomfortable last Thursday. We didn’t mean to.” Cree: “Why?
