How to make a Whopper®

You NEED to know.

1. Before preparing any food at Burger King or any other restraunt, always remember to wash and sanitize your hands prior to handling food.

2. Locate a Whopper® wrap, and mark the discard time using a charcoal pencil on the wrap.

3. Place Whopper® wrap on the hamburger preparation board.

4. Remove a large bun from the bun steamer. Inspect the bun for any imperfections (burns, ripped parts, etc.). Scream at the person in charge of the bun steamer if there are no buns in it.

5. Place the crown (top) of the bun above the heel (bottom) of the bun on the wrap, with the toasted side of the bun facing up.

6. Using the short black tongs, open and remove a Whopper® patty from the Phase One Whopper® Holding Unit. Inspect the patty for imperfections, making sure it is fully cooked, but not over-cooked. Place the patty on the heel of the bun.

7. Pick up the heel of the bun along with the patty, and place it inside of the "mic" (microwave). Press the "Red 1" button, which will heat the heel of the bun and the patty for 8 seconds.

8. During the 8 seconds the lower half of your Whopper® is in the microwave, pick up the crown of the bun and spread 1/2 oz. of mayonnaise over it. Then pick up a small handfull of lettuce and place in on the mayo, and then grap 2 tomatoes (sp?) and put them on top of the lettuce.

9. After the heel of the bun and the patty is done in the microwave, remove it, and place it back on the Whopper® wrap. Take 4 pickle slices, and place them on top of the Whopper® patty, so they ARE NOT touching.

10. Next, take a catsup (ketchup) bottle, and squirt, in a spiral pattern, three swirls of catsup (ketchup) on top of the pickles.
11. Take three onion slices, and place those on top of the pickles.

12. Grasping the top half of your Whopper® (the crown, mayo, lettuce, and tomato), place it on top of the lower half, seeing that it stays upright without your support.

13. Check to make sure that your Whopper® complies with Burger King's Gold Standard of Quality.

14. Fold the bottom half of the Whopper® wrap over the Whopper® sandwich first, then the top half, and then fold the sides in and underneath the sandwich.

15. Place the Whopper® on the heat sheet to keep it warm. A Whopper® can be held for 10 minutes on the heat sheet before it is "dead." Congratualtions, you've made your first Whopper®!

You should be able to assemble a Whopper® in about 31-33 seconds. Your Whopper® should weigh 10.2 oz.
