23 Fun Things To Do In Crescent City:
1. With a friend, run into the woods behind Mary Peacock School and attempt to "get lost."
2. Wait near a street corner (preferably one with a stop sign), and when a car pulls up near you, start to jerk around (as though you’re having a seizure). When the person rolls down his/her window, start to laugh hysterically. Then run away screaming.
3. Pretend to be “environmentalists,” and throw dirt clods at the tractors that are tearing up the woods around your neighborhood trees. Stage a sit-in in front of the tractors. Use picket signs.
4. Play paintball. Until you are covered in bruises.
5. Have one of your friends swing and jump off of the rope swing behind the cemetery. Film him flying into the air, soaring 30 feet up and over a ravine, and then landing in a blackberry bush.
6. See who can get their tongue more purple by eating any berry you can find in the woods.
7. Body surf. On the dunes.
8. Don a white doctor’s coat, and, armed with a 1st aid kit, walk around outside until one of the neighborhood kids falls, then proceed to "treat" him.
9. Stalk the ice cream man. Memorize his route.
10. Attempt to grab onto a moving car, while riding a bike.
11. See who can ride their bike the fastest down Pebble Beach Drive hill.
12. Run stop signs on bike.
13. Go to Wal-Mart, stand in the parking lot right out in front, close your eyes reeeeeal tight, and try to pretend it’s a mall.
14. See how many times you can walk into Wal-Mart until the banjo man says "Say, you look pretty darn familiar....."
15. Declare a dirt clod war when you’re having a bad day.
16. Pretend to be a weather man, and sadistically predict nothing but sunshine.
17. Take a census (count) of the hobo’s living in the woods surrounding Mary Peacock School.
18. Try to talk to the truckers driving through Crescent City on your Toys R’ Us walkie-talkies.
19. Go to the beach and swim. See who can stay in the water the longest before all their body parts go numb.
20. Try to count the number of times the sea lions bark from Castle Rock.
21. Chase the seagulls.
22. Make fun of all the people in Fort Dick for having to drive 10 miles to have all the fun we do.
23. Fork a nearby teachers' lawn. Also, leave AP essays strewn about on their lawn.
