William Alexander Dennis
He was born on May 29, 1903 in Halifax, N. S. On the death of his father, he entered the Halifax Herald. On his cousin acquiring his interest he took up farming in Elmsdale. Later returning to Annapolis Valley. He was the author and compiler of The Dennis Genealogy. He married Rebbecca Jenny Pauline Roberts on Febraury 2, 1921. She was born on June 27, 1897 and was the daughter of Matthew Lloyd Roberts and Mary Caroline Thomas of Montreal. His Second marriage was to Charlotte Emma Fraser, R. N., B. born on January 19, 1897, daughter of Stewart James Frazer and Charlotee Emma Seymour of Truro. They were married on December 26, 1947 in Mount Denson, N. S. No children in either marriage.
