Mark Outram was born at West Melton county of Yorkshire England on March 27, 1826. He married Sophia Smith on August 29th, 1847. He died January 16, 1874 and was buried at Forest Hill in Fitchburg Mass.
His trade was stone cutting. They had four children:
Mark was accused of manslaughter of his father, John Outram, and sentenced to time in York Castle after a lengthy court case that was in the "Sheffield and Rotherham Independent" on January 20th, 1844. He is listed as beginning his sentence at York Castle on the Case History website ID 7149 Outram Mark 18 years of age on 09 March 1844. I am uncertain of how long his sentence was.

He arrived from England at New York about August 7, 1869 and took out naturaly atiore papers at the Worcester Superior Court August term on August 18, 1873.
