John Edward Murch Sr.
He was born on May 27th, 1807 in Devonport, Devon, England and was baptized on June 21st, 1807. He worked in a shipyard as a shipwright and was killed from a fall in the shipyard around 1863. His father was Benjamin Murch and his mother was Mary Murch. He was the father of John Murch Jr., Thomas Murch, Benjamin Edward Murch Senior, Everline Murch, Eliza Murch, Mary Murch, Emma Murch and Elizabeth Murch, all born in London.
List here in the 1841 Census is John and Ann and their children, John, Everline, Elizabeth, Thomas, Eliza Ann Ryder Murch (who took her mother's name for her middle names).
