John Daniel Fields
He was born on January 5, 1899 in Brookfield, Colshester County, N.S. He married Hazel Marion Ryan on November 11, 1944. She was the daughter of Edson Ryan and Mazie Kempt of Truro. She was born on September 8th, 1896 in Forest Glen, Colchester County. They had two sons:- Eric J. Fields who died when he was five and half years old.
- Harold E. Fields who was born on September 8, 1920 in Amaheine, California.
