- the empire of coffee and sugar and heavenly beautiful music. Just to help a beginner - there are dozens of
music styles in Brazil that are not known much outside the country. Yet, these styles are still alive and compete
quite successfully with the ordinary pop music. So at least for a moment - forget about globalizing,
commercial world, consumer culture, and Britney Spears. :-P
On the following pages I will try to give you a basic overview of some Brazilian musicians and music styles:

under RADIO you will find a current playlist and a link to a radio station playing
Brazilian music.
