A Lesson Well Learned

The days are not that bad anymore. 
The skies are looking clear. 
Everything has changed, 
But all I love is near. 

And with every beat of every heart. 
Happiness is made. 
But me, I have only just now learned, 
That I can help and aide. 

For there are others who were like me. 
And for them this is not clear. 
That until you open up your mind, 
You heart is full of fear. 

I never knew that things could change. 
And make this life seem new. 
For all that I have learned just now. 
I learned because of you.
