Judy M. White, 62, of Athens Township passed away Thursday, February 3, 2005. Born Dec., 3, 1942 in Sayre the daughter of Henry and Bertha Heeman Meeker. She enjoyed arranging flowers, gardening, making dolls, and various crafts. She was an avid bear collector and loved doing the Lord's work. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents. Judy is survived by: Her husband Kenneth of 45 years, at home; her children Ken and Julie White, Elmira; Robert and Monica White, Mississippi; James White, Fla.; Helen White, Athens; Melanie and Walter McGuire, Sayre; Jay and Bertha Casterline, Sayre; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters Cathy Coates of Wilkes-Barre and Phyllis and Al Holbert of Rome; best friend and sister Marian Kimball of Lowman. Friends and family may call Monday, February 7, 2005, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home, Inc., 225 S. Main St., Athens. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Tioga Point Cemetery. Following burial, friends and family will gather at the Athens Township Fire Hall.
