About STI

The Summer Transportation Institute (STI) is held Annually at the Howard University College of Engineering Architecture, and Computer Sciences. The Program is geared toward exposing students to transportation careers and motivating them to become more interested in mathematics, science, English, oral and written communication. Participants are usually chosen from rising Juniors enrolled in the TransTech program at the Cardoza High School.This year, the selection was expanded to include participants from nearby Virginia and Maryland suburbs.
