back at it
i do have good luck, it's not amaysing luck, like i never get sick, but i didn't get sick until the last few days of the winter break. ah well...
i'd like to direct you all to the link page, at left, so that you may have a one url to memorise and then find all others blogs. you could even set it as your home page, and ask me to add more links. i might even use some tables to save space. eventually.

in other news:
jan 2 - road trip (sorry erika): well, most road trips are about the company. this was no exception, esspecially since it's london ontario. yeah... we went to a casino, bowling, rented a movie, played mario kart. but it was worth it.

jan 3 - part one: man does ian dad have DVDs, holy crap. but thanks for the chocolate. and we'll miss you when you go off to peterborough, so when are you inviting us up?

jan 3 - part two: gee... so many crazy people. we go out for sushi, and then all of a sudden there are 10 people in his one room apartment.

jan 4 - thanks ali

part two:
A Moderate Funk

"there is a theory that states that the if the secret of the universe were discovered, it [the universe] would disappear, and be replaced by something infinitily more complex. there is a second theory that says this has already taken place. there is a third theory that states the first two are a bunch of hooey made up by the marketing department of the hitch hiker's guild to the galaxy to sell more books." -Douglas Adams

"nothing worth having comes with out a fight
gotta kick at the darkness 'til it bleeds daylight"
-Bruce Cockburn

overcoming the earthly bonds and walk with me to a place of dark and light, the perfection we strive to reach in the impossible moment of pure creativity, the creation that emergies both perfect and fluid. a world we can only peek at, catch glimpses of, and dream about... that place is not where i am, but where i want to be. no, that's where i want everyone else to be, so i can enjoy the fruits of there perfect labour.
why must the artist struggle or starve. why aren't teachers revered as gods (good ones, at least). why isn't moderation, moderatied? [why is abverviation such a long word?]
a beautiful girl loves me, my friends aswell, they enjoy my compainy, my witty banter, and boyish charm. the world turns, and they still love me, i still love them, and the all is good in the world, accept there problems, drama, moot, useless, real, painful, important, childish, or whatever. like a harpsicord and jimi hendrix, it seems like we're piecing together a puzzle of a real place in the mind of so astrial celestial being. they sadness seems to be so out of place, and required to character. you wouldn't be you, noonewould.

___________________________________________

part three:
i - me

i feel like a different person with each different person, like each of you draw out a different part of me. how does that work, what cause it? a social chameleon. it doesn't feel fake, it's just different faces. i like how somepeople bring out the funk, the laidback, the worker, the rock, whatever... i just thought you'd like to know.

thanks for your time...?
etc?

so many little things, eh?
1- wake up.
2- neck hurts alittle
3- no jeans... dress pants...
4- remember i have to help my grand mother install DSL, because of the failure last time...
5- laundry
6- sigh... relax,
7- blog goes down(11:46), bandwidth?
8- washing machine begins to whine... and then begins emitting smoke, SMOKE??!? WTF?
9- help family, go shopping (couldn't find squash, turnip, candied fruit, long lines, no change, bad christmas carols...
10-go to grandmother to install win 98 to beable to install DSL software... should be simple, i bring both a win 98 disc and an update to 98. the update is rejected by the machine and the 98 disc says that this OS can't be installed over an existing OS... and i can't boot from either because the BIOS/CMOS isn't set up for booting from the CD drive, and i can't get in to the BIOS because it wont tell me how!?!
11-come home, dinner will be late.... but's it's a nice dinner. duck. mmm....
12-spill wine on my kakhi's(white thankfully) while opening the bottle, that's one more pair of pants that i don't have.. see number 8
13-duck is nearly impossible to carve with our blunt ass knives.
14-ali is wonderful, lets me do my laundry at her house. a load of wet laundry is heavy, even just down the street.
15-hang out with the gang. *sigh* better.
16-people start leaving. ali and her mother get in to argument over dishes. i hate confrontation. i just hope that i helped ali.
17-neck hurting alot.
18-ali and i chilled and i started to fall asleep...
19-needed to come home, forgot christmas card while trying to find my sweatshirt.
20-tired.

it's not the end of the world, or even that bad. just over all one of those days where the positives had a hard time winning out over the negitives. call me ali. call me anyone, tomorrow, i'm working monday.
