GOD’S MIRACULOUS WAYS FOR OF HIM AND THROUGH HIM and to Him are all things. For all things originate with Him; all things live through Him, and all things center in and tend to consummate and to end in Him. To Him be Glory forever! Amen, so be it” (Romans 11:36, AMP). What a glorious prayer! In every age, humanity has been thoroughly awe struck over the miraculous and mysterious ways of God. We have heard the religious try to explain natural catastrophes by saying, “God’s ways are mysterious you know.” In one sense, the realm of God or the unseen world will always be mysterious. Will we always think of God as the one who giveth and taketh away? Should we always be in the dark as to the operations of God and our expectancy for them? If faith is the heart response that releases the promises of God, then how could we be so unaware of the method God uses to fulfill our faith? For faith to be backed with substance or power, we need to know with certainty what can be expected from God. On the other hand, if prayers continue to exhibit the uncertainty of this religious plea, “If it be thy will,” then faith cannot be used effectively. We must know how God does what He does, so we can cooperate with Him efficiently and pray effective prayers (James 5).
