We have two or three gigs this summer, and we are currently rehearsing a set of
early sixties British dance-band hits.
These will include:-

1       Walking back to Happiness – medium quick-step

2       Lucky Lips – shuffle beat
(featured by Cliff Richard)
3       When the Girl in Your Arms is The Girl in Your Heart – waltz
(featured by Cliff Richard in the Film The Young Ones)
4       Midnight in Moscow – traditional jazz
(as arranged by the late great Kenny Ball)
5       Singing The Blues – modern sequence dance
(A hit for Tommy Steele)
6       I Only Want to be with you – Rock/Salsa beat
(featured by Dusty Springfield)
7       Feed the Birds – waltz
(from the Disney film Mary Poppins)
8       When – medium quick-step
(The hit revived by Shawaddywaddy in the seventies)
9       Happiness – Rock/Cha-cha
(Ken Dodd’s theme song)

Saturday 15th June 2013 2.00pm Barton in Fabis garden festival.

Saturday 29th June 2013 12 noon Orchard Nursery, Middle Street Beeston.

At present there are 9 of us, including 4 trumpets, 2 saxophones, French hom, Euphonium and E flat bass.
We are looking for a good drummer to help us out -any offers?.

We rehearse every Sunday morning at The Commercial Inn Beeston 10 am-noon.
