We could all learn a little something from musicals...
Sound of Music:
- When you stumble over your words or don't know what to say, just hail Hitler.
- When you're feeling sad, simply remember your favorite things, and then you won't feel so bad.
- When you are kissed, chase after the boy and yell WEEE!
- If you want to cheer someone up, just hold up your index finger and look at them.
- Make a statement--wear a curtain in public.
- When the Lord closes a door, somewhere He opens a window.
- Sometimes you feel like the world is coming to an end, and then it's just beginning.
- When the going gets tough, you can always run to the abbey.
- Have confidence!
- Sing whenever you want--you only need permission when you're in the abbey.
- Always try to keep faith in your doubts.
- Find out what is the will of God and do it wholeheartedly.
- Do better than your best.
- When you wake up, WAKE UP!
- Kill them with kindness.
- Activity suggests a life filled with purpose.
- Only grown-up men are afraid of women.
- You have to live the life you were born to live.
- You can't marry someone when you're in love with someone else.
- When confronted by the police, tell them you don't have time to talk because you're on the way to a concert.
- Wave goodbye to whoever drops you off, even if it's a bus.
Chicago:
There's a little bit of good in everyone.
Wicked:
Defy gravity!
People come into our lives for a reason, leaving something we must learn, and we are led to those who help us most to grow if we let them...
Life's more painless for the brainless...life is fraughtless when you're thoughtless
Don't accept limits because someone says they're so.
Trust your instincts.
Everyone deserves the chance to fly.
Wishing only wounds the heard.
Don't dream too far, don't lose sight of who you are.
It's not about aptitude, it's the way you're viewed, so it's very shrewd to be very very popular...
People believe all sorts of things that aren't true--we call it history.
