Message from Metzie: Hello teammates and support crew, Well it is that time again. I had another blood test today and it went very well. I was concerned the count would be up considering I had two wisdom teeth out a week ago. August is usually the highest month for my counts. The white count was up only 600 which is basically the same. The good news is out of the 25,200 number 19,600 is lymphocytes which is down 200 from last time. Normal is between 1,200 and 3,000. My platelets went up again which is a good sign. It went up from 157 to 168. Normal is 144-400. My red count went up to 5,270 which is in the normal range as well. Overall it was a very good test. Now if I can just get my mouth to stop hurting. My broken hand healed( I even made it back to play the end of the season and hit two homeruns). Thanks again for your support. It makes a difference.
