"Yo chief let me up," Taylor said into the intercom at Mira’s building.

She buzzed him up and he took the steps two at a time. "Hello?," he said coming into her apartment.

"Hey," she called from her bedroom. "I’m in here."

He walked across the living room into her bedroom. She had two big raspberry scented candles burning - one on her nightstand and one on her dresser. A Natalie Merchant CD was playing from the stereo as she sang along. "You ready?.....whoa," he said as he saw her standing in front of her mirror in a pair of black leather pants and a white halter top.

"Hey there," she laughed. "I’m almost ready," she said before applying her lipstick.

"Damn girl," he said walking around her. "You look hot."

"I know," she grinned. She stuffed her money and her license into a small zip change purse and put it in her back pocket. "So where are your leather pants? You know those are my favorite," she winked.

"I don’t have them anymore. They don’t fit," he laughed.

"Ah, well. You still look good," she said. He was wearing a pair of dark jeans, a white t-shirt and an army green jacket with his black Doc Martens.

"Thank ya."

"Okay," she breathed. "I’m ready. Are we going to get Natasha?"

"Yeah. Let’s kick it," he said. Mira blew out her candles and grabbed her coat as she led Taylor out of her bedroom and out the door. They dropped by the dorms to get Natasha and then up to Brian’s apartment in Union Square. The four of them rode the subway up to the club.

"I like her," Mira said sitting across from Brian at a table in the club. They took a break from dancing for a few drinks and were watching Taylor and Natasha dance.

"Me too," Brian nodded. "She’s cool.  So it doesn’t make you jealous at all to see Taylor with another girl?" He asked.

Mira turned her attention away from the dancing couple back to Brian. "Babe," she smiled. "We dated like, 400 years ago. It doesn’t matter to me. You know I love you," she said sweetly.

"I love you too. But ya know what?" Brian leaned forward grinning.

"What?"

"I bet you 20 bucks Taylor gets laid tonight."

Mira and Brian looked over at Taylor involved in a heavy make-out session with Natasha. He was dancing behind her with his arms around her waist. She leaned her head against Taylor’s collarbone as his lips moved to her neck.

Mira raised her eyebrows. "Nah, I bet he won’t."

"Really?" Brian said surprised. "You willing to put a little money on that?"

"Sure," she smiled. "I’ll find out from him tomorrow."

"Well okay then. It’s a bet," he raised his pint of beer.

"Yes it is," she smiled and tapped her water bottle against his glass. The song ended and Taylor and Natasha came over to the table. Taylor went over to the bar to get drinks as Natasha sat down next to Mira.

"So you guys look like you’re having fun out there," Mira smiled.

"Oh my God," Natasha sighed leaning her head on Mira’s shoulder. "He is so amazingly gorgeous."

Mira raised one eyebrow at Brian who nodded his head grinning. "Guess who’s buying my drinks next time," Brian said.

"What?" Natasha asked.

"Nothing," Mira laughed.

Taylor came back with a diet coke for Natasha and a bottle of water for himself. "You guys aren’t quitting on us are you?" Taylor asked sitting down next to Brian.

"No way," Mira said. "I say we go back."

"Let’s go," Brian said standing up and leading Mira back into the dancing crowd of people.

"That was a good club," Mira said on the almost empty subway car at 4 am. She laid her legs across Brian’s lap and ran her fingers through his hair.

"I agree," Taylor nodded sitting with Natasha across from Mira and Brian.

"So hey, where are we getting off? Are you dropping Natasha off at the dorms, should we wait on you?"  Mira asked.

"Um," Taylor looked over at his girlfriend.

"Actually, I forgot my key and if I knock on the door now my roommate’ll kill me so..."

Mira and Brian exchanged glances.

"Oh yeah," Taylor realized. "You can stay over with me."

"Are you sure?" she asked.

"Yeah, it’s no problem," Taylor said putting his arm around her.

"Okay well we’re gonna get off here," Mira said standing up as the train came to a stop at 14th street which was Brian’s stop.

"You guys take it easy," Brian said.

"Cool. I’ll give you a call tomorrow, Mir," Taylor waved.

"You better," she grinned.

"See ya," he smiled back.
