UWA has taken off the pads. UWA's Farewell Show - Spring Cleaning: The Final Shine, was Sunday, April 3rd, 2005 at 2:00pm. There was a live band, phenomenal matches, and great fun at our farewell show! Thank YOU fans!

It is a 40 minute long documentary following the UWA backyard wrestlers as they prepared and performed their final backyard wrestling show - Spring Cleaning: The Final Shine. It is also an informative documentary about what backyard wrestling is, why we got interested in backyard wrestling, what the pros think of us, and some historical ideas about backyard wrestling. It is entertaining from credits to credits for backyard wrestlers, wrestling fans, and even people who could care less about any aspect of wrestling. So, if you're interested, just email me. Thanks!

THE FINAL MATCHES:

1. *Tag Team Match*
Halen & Slayer vs. Shanus & Double H
Result - Shanus and Double H hit their patented reverse DDT's simultaneously, and followed it up with a Conquest from Shanus and a Leg Drop from Double H to gain a double pinfall for the victory!

WINNERS - Shanus & Double H!

2. *Hardcore Match*
Straightjacket vs. Mr. Fabulous
Result - After a grueling match up of signs, chairs, and headbutts, Straightjacket nailed Mr. Fabulous with a vecious headbutt for a 3 count pinfall. Later, he carried Mr. Fabulous out of the ring in a matrimonial manner. How sweet.

3. * 8-man over the top battle royal for $100 grand! *
Insane Dave vs. Violator vs. Shanus vs. Double H vs. Straightjacket vs. The Fro vs. Talon vs. BMFn'T
Result - Elimination order - 1.Double H, 2.Shanus, 3.Insane Dave, 4.The Fro, 5.Violator, 6.Talon, 7.BMFn'T

WINNER - Straightjacket won the $100 Grand! (which was actually the $100 Grand candy bar)

4. *Singles Match*
Talon vs. The Fro
Result - After a brutal series of powerslams and submissions, this match BROKE THE RING POST!!! Luckily, the UWA ring crew was able to fix the post within 10 minutes, and this match continued throughout the repair! When it was all said and done, it was The Fro picking up the victory with his patented Fro Job.

5. *UWA Heavyweight Title Match*
Shanus vs. Violator - Winner became the FINAL UWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!
Result - A great technical match up with quick exchanges and unique submissions, Violator was able to avoid two of Shanus' finishing manuevers and nail him with the Top Rope Spear and pinning Shanus for the 3 count!

WINNER & FINAL UWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION - Violator

*** MAIN EVENT - DOUBLE JEOPARDY, ELIMINATION, HARDCORE MATCH*** -
BMFn'T vs. Talon vs.
Insane Dave vs. Double H

Result - All four men exchanged some spectacular moves and surprise shots! Only Talon could pin BMFn'T, and vice versa, while Insane Dave could only pin Double H, and vice versa, but anyone could beat up anybody else...and they did! These four have had classic singles and tag match ups in the past, but this main event blew those out of the water! Both surprisingly out of control and techincally sound, this was a match to be remembered!
First Talon was eliminated by BMFn'T simultaneously with Double H eliminating his brother, Insane Dave. So it came down to Double H and BMFn'T, the creators of AWE (now UWA). After a grueling battle between the creators, Double H came out on top via his Crab Shooter!

WINNER - Double H!
