Two ways you can help!

Cash donations

We gratefully accept checks and money orders! Please designate on your checks:

General Fund or Building Fund

General Fund money will go towards books, office supplies, internet expenses, wages and other expenses.

Building Fund money will go towards buying land and a building in either the City of Scotland or in Scotland township (the northeast 36 square miles of Bon Homme County, South Dakota). It will also go towards shelves, desks and computers in the library.

We are a newly formed Nonprofit Association. We intend to apply for 501-c-3 tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service. At the present time, your contributions are not tax deductible, but are greatly appreciated!

Other donations:

At the present time, the only non-cash donations we are interested in would be some botanical and philosophy books published before 1900. We are also interested in anyone who wants to donate land or buildings (or both) in Scotland Township, Bonne Homme County, South Dakota or in Scotland, South Dakota for the establishment of the Tumbleweed Lending Library physical campus!
