Thanks for stopping by – here you will find anything Train related that was in Australia. So far they have been here three times and we are in for another tour by the end of the year WOO HOO.

**UPDATE**

Charlie Colin has left Train. In the road diary at www.trainline.com you can read what the band has said on the subject. The band and everyone wish him well, it has not been ruled out that he will play with Train again we will see what the future holds

On to some Aussie news - Train will be the support act for +LIVE+'s Aussie tour this December. The UNCONFIRMED dates are as follows

Wed 3rd - Perth Challenge Stadium

Fri 5th - Sydney Entertainment Centre

Sun 7th - Canberra Royal Theatre

Tue 9th - Newcastle Entertainment Centre

Wed 10th - Brisbane Entertainment Centre

Fri 12th - Adelaide Entertainment Centre

Sat 13th - Melbourne Rod Laver Arena

with additional shows to be confirmed

As soon as i find out for sure i will post them here. But considering they are a support act they will have around 45mins set each night. I make this judegment on each time i have seen +LIVE+ here they have brought an american support with them. Sugar Ray and Stabbing Westward were the supports for the past two tours and got 45 mins set with no aussie support act.

Nice to see the boys will get a good look at our country. No news if Train will support for the NZ leg of the tour or not.

Well on Monday June 9th Train's new album "My Private Nation" drops on Australia. If you are really keen some HMV Stores are opening at midnight to release it and you can score yourself a free poster! Or you can sleep and just steal a poster off the wall next time you visit HMV!!

Train's first single off "My Private Nation" is "Calling All Angels" and is avaliable at most cd stores or online if you are a non-aussie. Try www.hmv.com.au or www.sanity.com.au to get a copy shipped to you! It is well worth your time and money the b-sides on this cd are great! >

Well lets see it has been a long time since I have updated this page. Between me heading overseas (Canada and the USA in which I did catch Train in SF, but as this is the "In OZ" page I will leave that story off of this. I have not had much time to do anything with the site this year as for some silly reason I thought heading back to uni would be a great idea lol - what the hell was I thinking?? Anyway back to Train lets see.

- Rob Hotchkiss decided to part ways with Train, the band and everyone wishes him well and you can see his site at www.robhotchkiss.com

- Train's new album "My Private Nation" is about to be released. Australia gets hit on June 9th with rumours of a tour by the time the year is out (September??)

- The fist single off the album "Calling All Angels" will be released on Monday the 26th of June (first day of my final exams - coincidence? good luck omen? lets hope so). It has been on high rotation on many radio stations around Australia - well besides Canberra - anyone in Canberra heard it as poor Janzi is losing it!

- I plan on updating this a bit better but right now I am attempting to learn some accounting and economics work for my exams. I can't even remember how to do this - this is going to look all wrong lol.
