MMS hiaku / a beautiful bldg.

While waiting for a meet and greet with a PR agent in starbucks during the midwest music summit in Indianapolis, I made this hiaku and wrote it in my journal. Barry asked me what I wrote, I said "I can't tell you now," or "It's nothing" or something like that. If you are thrown by the lack of 5-7-5 formula, I refer you to this informative article on haiku techniques

We met the president of our promotion compant, Tinderbox Music. Jon was a great guy, but very busy moving and shaking. We met and talked to the guy who produced the Parlor Boys, the band who won myspace's battle of the bands. He was a very cool mid-south/salt of the earth kind of guy. I felt like I would trust him to produce a BRB album.

Later that evening, we played at a downtown bar called Spencer's Stadium Tavern. It was a cool old turn of the century building, recently remodeled. And we got to see alot of the building too, as two people besides a handful of regulars obscured our view of the lovely facility. But I am glad they (Steph and Rob) did come. The highlight of the show for me was trying out a new song called "Bombs over Bagdahd."
