I had a former student approach me today after church. He is now a student at Purdue North Central. What he told me was very flattering. He was the proud owner of one of 10 copies sold of my 2003 solo record “Five Songs About Trains” (now out of print) (I only made ten) For one of his design classes he was assigned to redisgn a CD cover. He said, “It was either yours or Yankee Hotel Foxtrot by Wilco.”
“Wow, that's quite a gap there,” I chuckled.
He told he he had listened to it on the way to school recently and thought he'd use it. I told him, it was funny he brought it up, cos I've been thinking about re-recording. I've learned so much about recording since then, and there are some good songs there. So, who knows, I may try.
