Callisto is a large satellite of the planet Jupiter and one of the three Gallilean moons. Callisto is the eighth known moon from the planet. It is Jupiter's second-largest moon and the outermost of the planet's large moons which include Io, Europa, and Ganymede as well. It ranks among the top ten largest satellites in the solar system.
