DARKEST DAYS

I fell in love with your green eyes,
always starring into them.
I got to close and I fell in,
now I'm drowning, and I can't swim.

And later on when you're not home,
I'll break your bedroom window.

That things like you and me,
could never last forever.
But lately all I do is think,
of the times we spent together.

I miss holding your hand,
As we'd walk through the park.
Now the journey seems so dark and scary,
No light to guide me through the dark.

And later on when you're not home,
I'll break your bedroom window.

but I knew it from the get go.
That things like you and me,

Falling into hell would have been safer than falling in love with you,
But still I'd sell my soul, for just one more night with you.
Or at least a picture of your smiling face,
To get me through these darkest days.
