I've always been a big fan of local music. There's something about the atmosphere at a smaller local show that makes it much better than  seeing a huge band at a large venue. I think it's really important to have a place for bands to play that is run by people who are as passionate about the music being played as the people playing it. This is why I came up with the idea for the save the music project. The main goals of this project are to create a place for bands to play where people can come watch and know their money is 100% going to benefit the local music scene. Another goal of the project is to use a portion of the profits from all shows to put into a fund for helping out bands who can't afford on their own to record in a quality studio.
