It is the belief of our writers that this underground scene contains the most exciting sounds to be heard today. Discreet listeners can find wonderful discs cut in bedrooms, garages, and rehersal spaces that will give them good reason to ignore major-label product (although the best major product will get space here). Because of this belief, Popscene encourages indie bands and home tapers to send in their latest releases to recieve honest, thourough looks at their latest music.
Popscene reviewers will give your material several thoughtful listens before writng any review of your work. Here you will not wonder whether or not the reviewer listened to your disc at all after reading their review (as happens quite frequently, even in small publications).
