Phew, time for a small break with a nice cup of Fairy Tea... Been struggling all day with this statistics. Can't stand another damn number for the moment. My god, things just went wrong down there. Anyway, i got a lot of visitors on my site. Wonder why, no idea what's so interesting about the crap i write here... Must admit i cheated a little bit. I put a comment in the guestbook of The Moe Greene Specials on Tuesday night and put my url there, too. A lot of people came to take a look at my site it appears... Well, i guess i owe them. So, all of you folks, go and take a look at The Moe Greene Specials. Cool site, they even play nice music *hehe*, which you can find on their site, too. Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Calendar says that today it is *Nook and Cranny Day*, when nooks and crannies are looked for and found... Lady Cottington was a young Englishwoman who lived at the beginning of the 20th century. She caught fairies between the pages of her scrapbook, leaving behind these wonderful impressions. The RSPCF (the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Fairies) has verified that no fairies were killed or injured. So, i just added the absolutely necessary Faery page, with a lot of faery drawings and some cool links. I only put the official pages of Brian Froud and Amy Brown on my page, but if you want more, you can always take a look at phOebe's little fairy hOle for other links. Today i received a really nice postcard from my friend Grietje, who was on holiday in Australia. I asked her to send me an animal, and i got a Platypus, hooray!! Thanks girl! (And now, you're all curious of course, what the hell is a Platypus >> dictionary!!) Damn, could use a break myself... isn't there anyone available to take me away from here for a weekend? Doesn't have to be far or exotic, just a place where i won't think of work or anything... Just a few days without all this boring householdstuff would already be fine... no cooking, cleaning, shopping... Ta, as if i had time to clean the past two months or so... wouldn't dare to invite anyone at Karenina's Castle at the moment... certainly if they are allergic to dust... *pixie*

Hmmm, lovely weather outside, i'm starting to get that summer feeling. Felt good all weekend, did lots of stuff... still can't believe where i got all that energy. I rearranged all the furniture again. Guess that's a good reason why i better live on my own, i'd drive any possible flat-mate crazy.
I really can't help it, but every two months, at least, i just need to put everything in different places. So now it started with the TV, on demand of a certain regular visitor, i put it in the bedroom (which is actually really better, i like watching tv in bed). To fill the extra space in the living room, i dragged some old table from the cellar upstairs
(not very smart to do it on my own... but i managed anyway), and then moved the seats, the table... looks really a lot better now, at least for a few weeks i guess... Anyway i arranged it so that now i can use my computer and the internet from the table, the sofa and the bed... high on comfort in Casa Karenina i must say...

So, did some nice work today, as you can see. Those banners wchulseiee made for me are really wonderful. Couldn't choose which one was the best so i just put them all over this site.
I also added a link with some nice words. It's not that spectacular at the moment, but this place is especially reserved for words... all kinds of words, just things i find here and around during my everyday life. For now i just copied some lyrics from Ani i had on my computer. I can really agree with what she's telling here. There are some lines in this song that are really important to me. Although...maybe i'm just too demanding. But this is something i read today: *always aim for the moon, if you miss, you are still among the stars...* So if there's someone around there who thinks that he's able to meet my standards as put in this Ani-song, you can send your application to the email adress above. Right, guess i just scared them off now, for sure. *hehe* *pixie*

Just a quick one today... it's already late and i have a long day to go tomorrow. Have to get up early and stuff, you know. But i'll just show you a picture taken at the fashion design class. We really had fun today,
a drawing exercise: each one in turn had to sit in the middle and then the other ones had to draw her. Very difficult, but very funny. I did manage to make a good drawing of Nathalie (although i'm not quite sure if she agrees with that), only her boots were a total disaster. But that was her own fault, if she just hadn't crossed her legs!!

It's been a few days since i last wrote something here... been busy, lots of work, a presentation to make about knitting for the fashion class. Yes, really, i kid you not... knitting.
Turned out to be quite interesting. Tonight i'm gonna pretend to be a specialist in the art of knitting... Good that i'm an excellent pretender. A friend sent me new pictures from this party last Friday... but guess what, you're not gonna see them here... too embarrassing (hey phoebs, guess this is how you spell it, no?)... They will not be published!! Been to the gym again today, my sister appears to be right... all gym instructors are gay. Did we have a weird guy today... Imagine, some Spanish type or something, grey-and-green striped too tight shorts (really!!), tight shirt. Jumped around, dancing, shaking his hips (thought he was ricky martin i guess), he even sang along with the music (out of key). And the stretching... he did it like a ballerina. And all this combined with the worst English instructions (ni move = don't move) God, it's hard to work out while trying not to laugh out loud... Must say it was an up tempo session, got me tired out in fact. I'm starting to really enjoy this sporting thing... And also: Happy birthday Sophie (yes i know it was yesterday!), and happy birthday Ann... still on time for that one! *pixie*

Yesterday i went with some friends to a poetry-music event. Got some really cool pictures to show you. I managed to take some sneaky pictures of Stef Kamil Carlens, especially for phOebe, so she can copy his hairdo.
Great after-party by the way. We were just a little bit tipsy, in a kind of *giggling/stumbling/acting like an idiot* way. Damn, guess we made a nice impression over there... but we had lots of fun!! *pixie*

Hmmm, change of plans, i was going to build a nice, clear website... Well not anymore, i guess it's going to be a bit messy, chaotic... a kind of scratchbook with bits and pieces of everything. Like those little notebooks that i carry around everywhere with 'Pixie's Notes' written on it.
Where i collect everything that is nice, cool, interesting or just beautiful... Messy and chaotic, a bit like me probably, ever changing, searching for more, wider, greater... Could have thought of that before, of course, that i would not be able to keep things organized around here... So be prepared for scratches and bites, bits and pieces, nice words, lovely pictures and great links that will appear and disappear. Ever changing and evolving...full of useless and... never useful stuff (how could a personal webpage be useful anyway?). I'll start right here: Useless information *pixie*

In this space there will be something called a 'blog', just learned the word from a friend... it's a kind of diary on the internet... Whatever, it's the place where you will get news from me.
I already have some news: I will be doing a master degree next year. And for that I will be abroad for a few months. Webpage will become handy then,you will all be informed on the life of pixie... if that isn't some great news ;-).
More news you'll be getting later, you can be sure... i'm starting to really get how all this stuff is working around here (for which i have to thank my great internet buddy Wchulseiee... Look i've already put you on my website, nice of me, don't you think?) Allright, enough of this idiot talk, time to get to bed...
