Cito Conarri: Fans, welcome to The Arena here in Baltimore. We are finally back with you all, and we’re bringing you this special OLW/CRW Joint Card, “Crisis on Outrage”! I’m Cito Conarri on play by play, joined by Leslie Stanton on color and Steven Styles on technical, and we’ve got a great card lined up here.

Leslie Stanton: Yes we do, Cito. Our main event tonight is a 10 man tag team match, pitting five wrestlers representing Angelina Bishop and the CAL Authority, against five representing Kai Scott and the Union. For the Union, it’s going to be TJ Killingbeck, Cole Christenson, Freddy Phoenix, Daemon Curtis and Danny Argus, and for the Authority it’s going to be Jack Cross, Jack Cassidy, Avarice, Heidi, and of course the reigning CAL World Champion, “The Lethal Arrow”, “The Perfection of the Hunt”, whatever the hell nickname he’s given himself now, Ultra Raptor.

Steven Styles: Well HO-LEE DAMN! That’s going to be insane, I’m telling you right now. Insane as in, Killingbeck and the others have to be insane for going up against the Authority because Kai Scott wants them to. You know he’s just going to come out here, side with Bishop and say something like “What does the shoulder say, dicksplashes?”.

Conarri: You may be right there, Styles. But that’s not the only match we’ve got. In the only single fed match on the card, we’ve got Greg Stone defending his Chesapeake Title against Rick Ravage. Ravage is nearly undefeated, losing only to Charles Scott in the tournament to crown the inaugural Chesapeake Champion, and being eliminated dead last at the battle royale to crown the inaugural Mid Atlantic champion. Stone on the other hand, has struggled in recent weeks, though he did manage to get rid of Cyrus.

Stanton: And may I say, GOOD RIDDANCE.

Conarri: You may. As for the rest of the card, we have Charles Scott, the OLW Mid Atlantic Champion, taking on the Chosen One of 2004, Top Dollar, in a non-title matchup. Also, the CAL Tag Team Champions, Kid Xtreme and Crosslatch, meet the Stone and Steel Syndicate in a non title match.

Styles: Just when I’d given up on the Syndicate accomplishing anything, they started tearing it up. And I say they’re the next CAL Tag Champions. You heard it here first.

Conarri: We also have a couple of undercard matches, including Wilde Tanke taking on Sammy Powers. Tanke we all know, Powers seriously impressed with his debut last week. There’s a four tag team match between The Regulators – that’s Jeremiah Blackwell and Shawn Andrews – Vicious n’ Delicious, Team Soylent Green and The Red Axis, as represented by Svetlana Verevka and Olan Malyk. And in our opener, we’ve got former CSWA and TIW superstar Python taking on OLW’s own Patrick Brody.

Styles: The winless, heatless Patrick Brody, right?

[Python’s entrance music hits the speakers, causing the crowd to erupt for returning TIW veteran. Python makes his way to the ring with a little interaction from the crowd around the aisle.]

[Green Face by Iced Earth hits and Patrick Brody makes his way to the ring, gaining mild cheers from some of the face-lovers that weren’t marking out for Python. He climbs into the ring.]

Python vs Patrick Brody

Conarri: This should be an interesting match up. Python’s a high flyer and a seasoned veteran around the CAL, where as Patrick Brody is a beast and hasn’t really been around all too long at all.

Stanton: Touch call Ceet. Personally, I have to go with Brody. Something about men who were in uniforms!

[Both men approach each other cautiously before Brody makes the first move. He lunges, but Python ducks to the side. Brody, slightly frustrated, lunges again, but again Python ducks the grab and dropkicks him in the side. Brody catches himself on the ropes.]

[Python chops Brody across the chest three hard times, getting the usual “wooo” reaction from the crowd before he whips him to the opposite ropes. Brody reverses the whip. Python attempts to recover with a flying forearm but Brody connects with a huge clothesline that takes some of the fight out of the smaller wrestler.]

Conarri: Brody is starting on the offensive, laying some rough boots into the chest and side of Python

[Python slides to the outside to get away from the assault. Brody reaches over the top rope and starts pulling him back in. Python gets onto the apron but before Brody can launch him into the ring he hangs Brody’s neck across the top rope. Python springboards over into a dropkick to Brody’s knee.]

Stanton: And Brody goes down hard. See, size doesn’t matter Cit.

Conarri: Python seems to be on a roll here.

[Seeing the opportunity in Brody getting back to his feet, Python springs off the ropes and lands a shining wizard to the face. Ever the opportunist he goes for a cover.]

One!

Two!

Kickout

[Brody kicks out with force, shoving Python off. Python takes to the ropes again, only to get hit with a big boot. Brody brings Python to his feet and hits a stalling vertical suplex that any powerhouse would be proud of. Not done with it, Brody brings Python back up and turns him around, locking in a full nelson.]

Conarri: It looks like Brody’s going to put Python down with a full nelson slam… what a counter! Python just countered the full nelson slam in midair with a neckbreaker.

Stanton: Python always was an innovator.

[Python goes to the turnbuckle, climbing it with energy and leaping off almost instantly, landing a Shooting Star Press.]

One!

Two!

Three!!

Conarri: Python wins his OLW debut, and it could be a very prosperous career here with Old Line.

[Backstage.]

[The Commissioner’s Office.]

[Dawn’s job has really been virtually preempted with Kai Scott’s arrival and subsequent forming of the Union. So all she really has left is her office. It’s a nice office though.]

Dawn: Cole, you shouldn’t have come here tonight.

Christenson: There is no way…

Dawn: You’re INJURED. You suffered a severe concussion, and you’re supposed to get lots of rest. If you go into that match, you’ll be a target for all five of them. Heidi kicks harder than Raptor.

Christenson: I know, Dawn, I know. Raptor’s lethal, Heidi’s worse, Avarice wants revenge, and Kai Scott’s out of control and not to be trusted. But I don’t CARE.

Dawn [exasperated]: What ever happened to you being logical all the time?

Christenson: LOGIC says that if I don’t take this chance to get my hands on Raptor, I might not get another one. You know how fast wrestlers come and go around these parts. Besides, it’s just one match.

[We fade out.]

Crisis on Outrage continues...
